Service Description

What you will learn? In this hands on, day course you will learn all the basics of bricklaying including how to make mortar, brick bonds, laying bricks, pointing and finishing brickwork and how to set out in a safe manor. This is a practical course with limited theory - the main aim is getting tools in your hands so you can experience brick laying. We understand not everyone wants to sign-up to a week-long course without knowing that you will even enjoy. This one day course is the perfect introduction to brick laying. If you're looking for a more in depth course, check out our 2 day or week long courses, What you need to bring: All tools and materials are provided, however you will need to bring a few things with you. • A pair of safety footwear • Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty • A packed lunch (there is a café on site open on Saturdays only)
